At Union Moving & Storage, our story is one of dedication, growth, and family values. We began our journey in 1999, in the heart of Connecticut, with a simple mission: to provide dependable and stress-free moving services to our community. Over the years, we built a reputation for excellence, helping countless families and businesses relocate with ease.
In 2022, after more than two decades of success in Connecticut, we embarked on a new chapter, relocating our business to Florida. This move symbolized not just a physical transition but a renewed commitment to serving our customers in new and exciting ways. Florida welcomed us with open arms, and we quickly became a trusted name in the Sunshine State.
Today, Union Moving & Storage remains a proud family-owned and operated business, and our legacy continues. Together with my youngest son, we are taking the company to new heights, combining decades of experience with fresh ideas and energy. We recommend getting touch with us 2-4 weeks before your move, depending on your move complexity and size.
The best day of a week to move is definitely Sunday – with less traffic & better parking situations – in always “difficult for parking”. If your building is a doorman building that does not allow moves on weekends, Tuesday and Wednesday would be days of a week to aim for – since less people, as per our stats, move on these dates.
We recommend moving in the morning if you and your building’s schedule allow that – our earliest regular time slot starts 8-10 AM. The sooner we start, the sooner you’ll be all set enjoying your new home!
